Nice series. I love the idea of CHERUB and espionage books, so this gets four star. But I don't want to review every single book in the series, cause there's a lot, so here's a quick review of the first four books, that I've already read.
I love the characters, especially Kerry and Lauren. And James, the MC, can be sexist. But after getting beat up by girls younger than him, he quickly learns his place. He's still likable (minus his revolting lack of cleanliness. I totally agree that he's disgust

This book was originally called The Dealer and my copy goes by that title so I got confused because I was searching for a different title. I was surprised at how many there are in this series when I searched by series title. I'm really into books like I, Q; Alex Rider; and, of course, Cherub Missions. They are all so awesome, I just love the whole teenage spy thing! It sounds so cool! If you like that sort of thing, go for it! The Cherub Missions are absolutely amazing, the first one, Mission: T...more

I'm so glad that I'm re-reading this series!!!
I remember being a young teen and being so obsessed over Cherub. I wanted to be recruited as well and become badass :)
Also, I must say that, now being almost 22 years-old, I'm seeing things in a different light. There are certain details that I'm not okay with, the first and main one being the fact that these kids act way more mature than they are, and the nasty that goes on on their lives is taken into consideration. What I mean is, sometimes stuff

This book IS AMAZING! So much more gripping than the the 1st book of the series. This book has made me want to keep reading on. I couldn't put it down and kept myself reading late into the night till early morning! Yet again, I felt very evolved in this story with James and sometimes felt like I was at the scene or wanted to be in the scene. Furthermore, you fell so engaged in the book that you were feeling some of James emotions and helping him throughout the mission. I know at times I was gasp...more
When I finished reading the first cherub book I never new that it was a huge series, I didn't find out till my mum told me. This book carried on from the first book in the CHERUB series. As I was so hooked into the first book i had to read on or it would be complete torture for me to not read on. This book was not as good as the first book THE RECRUIT. Quite possibly the author Robert Muchamore tried to make a better more action packed book to carry on with the first book but as I was saying; I...more
The book is very exiting with a lot of action and I found it very hard to put the book down.

A YA with some daring espionage
Not my usual SciFi fare, but a really great read anyway. James , now an aging agent of twelve? Fifteen? Hard to guess as most all of the agents are under age you see. The author makes it clear that children were used during the world wars in Britain with great effectiveness. This is the basis for the series.
This is book two, which sets James up as a drug dealer against a seasoned gang of coke dealers. The usual antic unfold with a bit of hilarity, coming of age se

This book has lots of action, suspense and cliff-hangers at the end of most chapters. It's a great book for anyone who enjoys what I just described. This book is second in it's series. The entire CHERUB series has 12 books in it, starting from The Recruit and ending in Shadow Wave. ( WARNING: SPOILERS) Class A is James Adams' second mission. James works for CHERUB, a secret agency that uses kids as agents instead of adults because they are less suspicious. CHERUB was founded by a man named Charl...more

These books are so full of action! I really hated the sexist talks in this one, and also the (view spoiler)[fact that James was a homophobe, but I suppose that's quite realistic, especially back 10 or so years ago. (hide spoiler)] I love how Lauren (view spoiler)[hurt Mr Large, so glad! Wonder what her next training will bring though! (hide spoiler)]

This was okay, I did not like the drug scenes in it. It was written as if all 13-15 year olds take drugs or want to. This is pants as I don't and neither do my friends. I will read more of this series but this disappointed me.

I quite enjoyed reading this book as it was very exciting the whole way through. The book also continued the story from the first book well but it wouldn't have mattered if you hadn't read the first boo because it would have made sense anyway. A lot happened in this book which was different to the first one, so I think that each of the CHERUB series books are different however still linked with characters and a basic storyline similar throughout all of the books. This book makes me look forward...more
I thought this was a good book because the characters were well developed and it had great detail. It had an interesting plot and kept on making me want to read on.
I have to say that the first one was better as it had more action but this was still another great book.
Loved the start and the middle but hated the last three chapters as it was not thrilling enough and the rest of the story hyped up the ending but it was very anticlimactic. Still liked and would recommend to anyone who does not like reading but wants to.
It was very good and my favourite book in the cherub series

The dealer, the next book in the CHERUB series, were James must face is most daring mission yet. His mission, track down some of the world's most dangerous drug dealers. James and his partners must track them down. Now these drug dealers don’t deal it themselves, they find children to deal the drugs for them. Now you may be thinking that this book isn’t really good for teens or young adults because of the drugs, but in the end of the book it really does have a point, and the point is that kids...more
1. I decided to read this book because the first book got me hooked to this series and I couldn't wait to get this one started.
2. A character I found interesting in this book was Keith Moore. He is the villain of the book who is the biggest drug lord in Europe. This creates an image of a scary thug like man who takes no prisoners, but as James discovers while undercover, he is actually a nice person who cares for other people as well as himself. James finds out that Keith really likes him as a p

I loved this book! It's SOOO much better than the first one and I really really liked it! I had higher expectations for this book, so... thank gods it was good enough!
One of the reasons why these books can't be on my 'favorites' list is because I have some problems with them... James still bothers me a lot. He can be so immature, sometimes. UGH It's not even funny. Also, some of the other kids can be really stupid ocasionally... I do not like that... at all! Kerry has earned her place as my favo

Cherub Class A is the sequel of the book Cherub The Recruit. It is about a boy named James Adams who works for a top secret organization called Cherub. So James Adams is on his toughest mission yet. He has to hunt down the worlds most successful cocaine dealer. With his friends Kyle, Nicole and Kerry, and their mission...more
Robert Muchamore is new author that I just found and to me he writes very interesting books and I just read one book from his series CHERUB called The Dealer. For reading this book for the first time it makes me wanna read it again. Just a heads up these series have a use of language that maybe some don’t like to read so I recommend this book to the grades 7-12. Second time around, James’s mission involves trying to help bring down a prolific drug dealer. As you’d expect, plenty of action and this is the kind of book you race through.
Perhaps the target audience will like this more, but there’s a lot in here that I think might have changed if the books were written more recently. The Cherubs are trained, but I really don’t think kids of this age would behave as they do. I wasn’t impressed by James’s homophobia, which hadn’t been hinted at until it was n

After reading the first book of this series I was hooked and immediately had to read the next one. Class A or The Dealer, continues James Adam's story as him and the other agents at Cherub work to bring down Europe's greatest dealer. Class A is filled with plot twists and turns but in a way that makes this a fun and easy to read book. This addition to the series well supports the first book and hints towards readers of this book that the next book, similar to the first and last, will be full of...more
These books are so solid and well written that it blows my mind a little. The amount of research poured into these books is outstanding and just works SO well. The writing itself is straight to the point but informative, which is one of my favorite kinds of writing *styles* (I guess you would say styles? idk) to read. It also makes these books SUPER fast reads, which I love.
I'm definitely more into the series after this book than after the first one; James is a BIT less of an asshole, so we'll

James can be such a brat but at least he is a growing character, who learns from mistakes and has a heart in the right place. The mission in this book was related to drug problems and was interesting to read. Obviously it was a madeup story but it had some truth in it and that made it more interesting. Plus spies are soooo cool, even when they are only 12-13 years old :D
The book class a very exhilarating book. From murder by a teenager to a small drug deal In a bathroom. The main character James Adams was portrayed as quite a troublesome teen who was very smart and showed excellent signs of bravery and courage. The series cherub really shows the differences as a normal teenager and a secret agent.
