The fourth edition is the up-gradation of the third edition with notable chapters on various applications. The new chapters, namely Photographer with very few topics of digital photographer, Global Positioning System (GPS) and the chapters of applications like, Forest Resources Management, Watershed Management and Natural Disaster Management Landslides are added. Since, the users of geomagnetic technology for various applications have been using high resolution image data, the photogrammetry with fundamental concepts are included for better understanding of the student community. The application chapters are the output of the sponsored research projects of the author. These chapters are very much useful to the students who focused their research on geopolitical technologies.

About Author

Dr. M. Anti Reddy Professor of Environmental Science and Technology, at awaharlal Nehru Technological lining,* (JNTU), Hyderabad. He received his Ph.D. in Remote Sensing frau JNTU arid M. Tech. from Ill Kanpur. He has more than 24 years of teaching experience in Environmental Grammaticalness, Digital Image Processing, Ecology & Environment and Environmental Impact. Assessment. He has published more than 150 research papers In many International and National Journals besides undertaking various National R & D projects sponsored by different Government departments and organizations.

He visited number of countries around the world and presented lectures at the Universities in USA, Sweden, Japan, UK, Thailand, China, Ireland, Saudi Arabia. He Is the technical referee for the Journals, namely — International Journal of Remote Sensing, UK and Remote Sensing Reviews, USA. He has conducted shornterm training programs on Remote Sensing and GIS Applications to Environmental Management to various Government officials and faculty of engineering and polytechnic colleges of Andhra Pradesh.
