Unfortunately, iOS 11.3's SEP and Baseband are not compatible with iOS 11.1.2's and therefore, you can't use it to upgrade from a lower iOS 10 version even if you have the SHSH2 blobs saved. IOS 11.2.6's SEP and Baseband are compatible and can be used with FutureRestore to be able to upgrade to iOS 11.1.2 with your SHSH2 blobs. SHSH2 Blobs Download for iOS 10.3.2, iOS 10.3.1, iOS 10.3, iOS 10.2.1 Preparations & Notes. This will only back up SHSH blob files for iOS versions that are still being signed by Apple. Shsh2 blob files are unique to each device. You cannot use the saved blobs for another iOS device. Put the iOS 11.1.2 IPSW you downloaded at the beginning into the Upgrade folder. Open futurerestoremacos folder and put the file futurerestoremacos into the Upgrade folder. Copy your SHSH2 blob from iOS 11.1.2 and put into Upgrade folder.

What you will need:

  • Your 11.1.2 SHSH2 blob, check if it's valid here

  • iOS 11.1.2 IPSW for you device (Only tested this on my iPhone 7+)

Steps

  1. Open your SHSH2 blob file using Notepad and look for your generator string write it down somewhere for later.

  2. Install Julio's Nonceset1112.ipa using Cydia Impactor.

  3. Open Nonceset1112 and wait a couple of seconds (app may crash so just keep trying until you see something like this)

  4. Now type your generator string into the SET/CHANGE NONCE and press return to enter. It should say you have set/changed your nonce.

  5. Download Encounter's Futurestore Windows fork v173, extract the files into a new folder.

  6. Place your .IPSW and .SHSH2 file into the new folder you created, should look something like this.

  7. Open up Command Prompt and navigate to the directory of your new folder, for example I would have to type 'cd C:UsersUserDesktopNew Folder'.

  8. After you enter that, type
    'futurerestore.exe -t TheNameofYourSHSH2File.shsh2 --latest-baseband --latest-sep TheNameofYourIPSW.ipsw -d'

and press enter.

9. Your iPhone should now be restoring to 11.1.2 give it a few minutes.
