Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue full version game is a third-person perspective in a 3-D format. You bear the role of Buzz Lightyear. The levels include Andy’s house, Al’s Toy Barn and AI’s penthouse. You will find many of the original characters from the movie. You are given several different tasks to accomplish. If you have completed a task, you are awarded a Pizza Planet, enabling you to advance through tougher levels.
Enemies in the game possess different abilities. They can jump, fly, fire projectiles, and block. They will damage you, which you will know about the decreasing of you health, whereas if you damage an enemy, his health will not be shown.
You possess several different abilities to attack, in order to exterminate enemies and advance through the game. You fundamental attack is a laser which you will fire (with a single projectile), damaging the enemy. If you keep pressing the button to hit this projectile, it will more severely damage the enemy. You also have an ability to attack with a spinning move, which is almost similar to the laser attack. Of the abilities, two are jumping and double-jumping.
If a level begins, Mr. Potato Head will appear, showing one of his body parts missing. If you have found that particular body part, you will be rewarded with a power-up that you will be using in another power-up available. You will use these power-ups if you confront any difficulty whilst advancing through the levels. These power-ups are the Cosmic Shield, the Disc Launcher, the Rocket Boots, the Grappling, and the Hover Boots.
